CHECK-IN PROCESS

  • Key box for house keys is located on the top level front door on railing.

  • Take your shoes off. We prefer shoes be left at the entry doors. There are shoe trays provided to make it easier. We recommend bringing slippers or inside shoes to make your stay most comfortable.

  • Take note of guest access areas. Any locked door means it is an owners closet or the dog room area which is only available if booked before arrival with paid pet fee received. The garage is also not accessible unless paid for ahead of time. All other areas are for guest use.

  • Have a blast and make lots of memories. Don’t forget to tag us @the.bladehouse


PARKING

There is plenty of parking in front of the garage as well as an additional parking area up behind the home with space for about 3-4 vehicles. 

  • There is an ATV parked next to the house with a snow plow on it. Please do not block this vehicle. In the event of heavy snow fall, the driveway will need to be plowed down to the road. In such situation we would contact you before heading to the home. We would not need access inside, just the exterior. 

  • There is an area behind the house with a large rock retaining wall that we use as our wedding site. You are welcome to walk on it but please don’t park any type of vehicle. No Parking Signage is posted.

  • Always be cautious of snow falling off the roof as well as ice on the ground.


CHECK OUT PROCESS

  • Gather all dirty towels and place in a pile on each bathroom floor.

  • Remove dirty bed sheets and pillow cases and pile on the floor. Leave mattress pads. Blankets and pillows on the bed.

  • Wash all used dishes or load and start the dishwasher before you depart. Used dishes left without being cleaned will result in a cleaning charge of $50.00

  • Return all 8 thermostats down to 55 degrees. Do Not Turn Heat Off 

  • Make sure you have all personal belongings by scanning the entire home before you depart. Any items left will result in a minimum shipping fee of $35.00 

  • REMOVE ALL TRASH. Please use the Angel Fire Recycle Center for your trash drop off. Do not leave your trash outside or on the deck. Any trash left at the home will result in a removal charge of $50.00 per bag.

  • Lock the rental and return the keys to the lockbox located on the top floor by the front door. There is a $75.00 fee for each lost or unreturned key.
